Top College Search Sites
My daughter is a sophomore and is already getting brochures from possible colleges. We haven't really paid much attention until now. I thought it would be interesting to see what was out there so I Googled
'Choosing a college'
WOW - there are 228,000,000 websites that want to help us.
Talk about overwhelming.
When I was a kid I vividly remember my father checking consumer reports before he made any purchases of appliances, electronics and even cars. So I thought I would see what they said about which are the best websites for choosing colleges.

Sadly, none of the online websites listed seem to address information for special needs at the colleges but several of the print books did.

These books are updated annually.
There is another book that is updated annually and is designed specifically for finding colleges for special needs students.
The K&W Guide to Colleges for Students with Learning Differences has 350 schools listed with programs and services detailed. This book is also available on Amazon for $23.12
I have not personally purchased any of these books as I prefer to do my research online. I also like the idea of getting real time feedback from students who have attended the college, unfortunately I haven't found any resources yet that provide that kind of feedback. (I will keep looking)
